ha, its gonna be here before we know it...

i guess this is to be expected. i am ready for androids really. i feel like its all rushing forward and i am quite interested to see what this robotic world will be like. i have a feeling i will dig the robot conversation, i imagine they will be amazing with words, descriptions, facts, knowledge. maybe depending on the kind of robot, but imagine if you purchased one who could sing every song you love from david bowie or give every lecture by mark pesce then you really would have a cool companion. when they attain real consciousness, what will they will think of your individually slightly narrow realm of knowledge? can my robot girlfriend become bored with me? will she seek a higher form of intellect? will people get dumped by their robots? why not? seems plausible. maybe there will be a facebook for droids, droidbook. yeah DROIDBOOK! i think i am on to something! they all hook up via Internet and make cyberlove instantaneously, that is until one gets a virus, then it of course becomes a million dead androids, and now everyone is lonely.
